As though that was not unpleasent enough, a chinese baby threw up rice(as the bus was quite bumpy). It covered about 3 seats and smelled like Jasmine.
After about 2 hours on the bus, it suddenly just stopped...in the middle of nowhere, and 4 chinese and myself were pointed at and told to get off. I was halfway through a blog actually and found myself on the side of the road, still with my tablet in hand lol
It appears that is the point 75000 vnd runs out. I checked using my GPS, and it appears i was south of Saigon on the distant outskirts somewhere.
I stopped a guy on a bike and offered him 100000 vnd (about $5 aussie) to double me and my pack all the way into the city. That was one hell of a wobbly and funny ride at high speed on highways, then through dense traffic jams and horse pulled carriages.
Along tbe way I noticed a huge roadside bill board "Hambuger Training School"... my mind overflows with the possibilities!
Anyway, I got here. Im bursting for a piss, so maybe a coffee shop will do the trick. Im very hungry also.
I'm now in Pham Nga Lao (Highlands Coffee) again.
It's a nice air conditioned coffee shop in Saigon. Im nearby the place I stayed the other day, however my sense of direction is completely reversed.
There is a lot of free wifi in Vietnam... its everywhere.

I have a lot of time spare today. In being back inSaigon Ive already had a number of offers for trips to Da Lat. My preference however is to try Sleeper bus if I can. It sounds like they trip is 5 hours or so, so I don't want to arrive at midnight then find a place to stay. I'll catch a bus later today and try and arrive early tomorrow and find somewhere to stay.
might rest a little under some trees. Just watch people. I have my full pack so I wont wander too far.
Right now I'm just having an absolute blast trying to suck huge cubes of jelly up a straw - this could easily become an Olympic sport !
