Uuuugh! What the hell is that on my shoe?!?!

Something I neglected to mention in my blog post from earlier today is that after my walk last night I got back and could not find my hostel building, they had a garage door rolled down on the front so i could not recognize it. Luckily there was so many hostels on the street i thought i had to take a photo of it and find looking at the 2 on each side i was able to identify with my hostel was it looks as though somebody had picked up and taken to the way I had to bang on the garage doors to have been opened it and angry person came out and told me i only needed to ring the buzzer i guess they only needed to tell me that they get a garage door whenever somebody goes out when I woke up this morning and decided to go for a walk i go down into the hospital office and find out the garage door is still closed it opens automatically when i was supposed to send living up here in the ceiling and they put a remote button to open the door i walk from there to the market and i am having lots of fun crossing the road I am doing it just for a laugh now but traffic is crazy it is just like India I walk to the fence and market and then I looked around there was a lot of fish and meat and poultry type stuff and it was really interesting actually.

From the I walk towards the Notre-Dame cathedral and i found a Vinicom shop to buy a phone sim card for my phone which means i am now online. It cost 137000 vnd for the SIM and a 600 mb plan which will slow once used.
It should last me the month. as with the last couple of blog i'm using the voice dictation feature on my tablet to record it is hard to find a quiet place in Ho Chi Minh to be able to do this without any other distractions upsetting the text conversion. Hopefully it works alright. Have been to the Cathedral and got some good photos.
A funny thing that I saw was a woman having her wedding photos taken in the middle of a busy intersection with thousands of cars coming at them ... now that is creative photography. I got some photos of that as well so that will be funny once I post photos back up on this blog.
It is just like in India in some regards. After visiting a french bakery for breakfast, I sought out a nice quiet location to speak my blog into my tablet and as I walked across a park in search of a spot I got told off again by the police for walking on grassed areas. agggh! Very similar to my experience to that in India.
Today I stepped in a dog shit (at least that's what i prefer to assume it was). Sharon will certainly find that funny given our conversation at Bangkok Airport about using one of the fake turds I bought in Bangkok for a prank :-)

Inside the Jade Pagoda, Saigon

I found the infamous Jade Pagoda. I think I got some great photos. Wow a lot of very hot walking today. Now sitting in backstreet cook shop watching the most nervous looking dogs I have ever seen.
From here I shall walk to the war museum.
