Slept well. Did not wake up with any dogs, cats or homeless vagrants in my bed. And to the best of my knowledge all cockroaches are accounted for on the ceiling.

I will most likely head to Ben Thanh market only a 10 min walk way, then to Notre Dame to check that out.
my room is small, on my quick walk last night I compared local prices and it seems that mine is a fair price. It seems to be a bit of apub club area which is not my scene, so ill poke around town today and head south to My Tho and the Mee Kong Delta tomorrow I expect. Its the countryside im looking forward to.
I can either hire a bike and to the 4 hour trip, or bus there. Stay two nights and explore by bike then come backand head north. Im thinking of doing the bike option.
