A great and very smooth trip to HCMC. On both flights thus far Ive asked and been given the Emergency seats with extra leg room.
Flight left bang on time and only took about 1hr 15m.
Arrived in just after 8. Withdew 8 million in vnd from cash machine... thags about $400 Aussie dollars i figure.
Cabs trying ti charge me 500000 vnd to city, but I knew the route should not exceed 180000 vnd. Caught a fixed price cab for 150000 vnd. Found hotel in district 1 (backpacker area) 300 vnd per night. Will stay here two nights. Left pack in room and went walkabout, got a few photos. From what I've seen so far this place is crazier than Bangkok !!
