580 Handbags and a mossy log

The  market at Chatuchuk is a must see!

Its massive .. and it was very very hot. I gobbled down a lot of various foods ... i think I ate dog but I'm unsure, will try a tidbit of Lassie when I get to Vietnam to be certain.
I am keen to try a fried turantula, but haven't seen anything like it yet, that may also be a Vietnam thing.
Im finding that in general the Thai people are very friendly and love a good laugh. Sometimes they dont understand you at all and still laugh ... they make the perfect comedy audience!
Some seem to be a little rude though. In general they try and help you where they can.
After getting home last evening Sharons swollen knee seemed to have settled down so we went down to the pool together. We ordered some light food and a cocktail or three. Had a swim and washed the sweat from all my orifices.
We had a few hours up our sleeves and a litle bit more shopping to tick off. We caught a tuk tuk to MBK again.

I spent about 2000 bht on shirts, and some electronic gadgets. I bought a fan with usb controlled  laser pointer message thing, a 6400 mah usb power pack (which will be invaluable in mre remote parts of Vietnam), some slip on shoes ... in hindsight they look a bit gay but they àre really comfy :-)

Sharon bought about 580 handbags !
We had a nice Thai dish at the place we ate at a couple of nights ago as it was sooo yummy.  The only funny thing that occured was with the punch drinks we ordered. They have just a few spoonfuls of some fruit syrup and the rest was ice. They are  yummy though, so we ordered a second one ... this time without ice.
You can see what would happen  right?
Yep, we got a glass with only the spoonfuls of syrup. When we complained we were shown the measuring cup used and assured that we had been served what we had asked for...which technically was correct lol

We were shattered  by this time and caught a tuk tuk back to the hotel. I slept like a log (a cute fuzzy one covered in soft green moss) ...and as I write this I am unsure if Sharon will ever wake up ... i think she is dreaming of cutting down trees in that same forest with a chainsaw ... just going by the sound effects (in the interests of minimizing later injuŕy to myself I state here that I am just kidding).   :-p
Plan for today is likly to be a visit to the crocodile park and zoo. This is the one where they put their heads into a crocs mouth while the crowd waits in absolute silents for the croc to snap them shut. I cant help but think a loud fart right at that moment would be doubly entertaining.

Despite trying all the street food ... mine are still air and not fluid at this point m proud to report.
Sharon wishes to stay quiet on this topic ... which is highly suspicious if you ask me! Although she has been quite tame and not ventured to try any street food so i guess I'm wrong in that aspect.  lol
