A positive post for the Bamboo Hotel. Its an awesome place (a little more than I was going to spend, but I did decide to treat myself at the end of the trip).The Hotel has awesome views, a good breakfast and I even had a bubble bath in my room. Its about US$43 per night, I'm here for 3 nights.
I'll be sure to put up a good review on TripAdviser.
....Actually on that note, I posted the following on TripAdvisor about the backpackers hostel in Da Nang that I stayed at - check out their reply for a giggle ... Sharks??

I've had my best stay in Vietnam here. Its a new place, but the staff are great... I think one even let me win a number of times on the pool table!
I found the Internet access here basically non functional and had to use my own it has worked better for me elsewhere in Vietnam).
But I cant speak more highly of the staff and the facilities. Its very clean. Spacious and I think its in a good location. See my blog for more info on my trip and what I found in Vietnam.

The international internet cable under the sea has some problem by the sharks, therefore, the speed of internet is quite slow. So sorry about this inconvenient happening during your stay.
