Puppets, Snakes and Bagets

I had an early breakfast, then headed over to meet with Micheal, Ross and the others across the road. Ross and Maria are heading inland today, so we exchanged details and said our good byes.

I booked tickets to see the Water Puppets show this evening at 6:30pm (100,000 vnd). I'm looking forward to that as it has come highly recommended by several people I've met.
I also understood that Hanoi is the best place to see the show. Its about a one hour show.

Michael, Ghia and myself caught a taxi for 130000 vnd over to Le Mat to see the snake village. From a snake point of view it was a little disappointment, however I still got to hold a snake (as I do). A couple of us did this and got some photos. The guy would not let me hold the Cobra though - as much as I asked.

Then we wandered about and could find little other evidence or snake activity. It was interesting to see a different less busy side to Hanoi thought I must say.
We soon caught a cab back and we wandered abut much of the day quite casually after having some street begets for lunch.

The others went back to get their bags and head for the airport and I popped out to buy some fruit to eat, before heading back to the hotel to try and bring my blog up to date :-)
I'm off to see the puppets at 6:30pm tonight.
