I plan to explore Po Nagar - Ancient Temple , then scoot as many km hugging the coast north as I can.
The day after shall be deemed Gozzie Relax Day. Im a solid 3 days ahead of my Schedule. For 500000 vnd I can explore and swim Vinpearl Resort Island. Included is the trip over by cablecar.
With a length of 3320m, this is the longest Cable-car system in Vietnam that has 9 pillars similar to the Eiffel and lighted by laser at night. It is 40m higher than the sea on average and the highest point is 60m. The Cable-car system is not only a regularly used means of transport but also considered to be a wonder of Nha Trang tourism industry. From an ideal height, sitting in the cabinet, visitors can enjoy the panorama of pretty Nha Trang city embraced by meandering beaches and the paradise-like beauty of Nha Trang bay, one of the world’s most beautiful and famous bays. The system can transport 1000-1500 people an hour in 48 cabins, each of which contains 8 people. It takes approximately 12 mins to cover the route, the speed of the cabinets are 4.4m/s. The Cable-car system can work safely in force wind level 7... but I trust it will be a fine day.
My plan when I leave Nga Trang will be to head for Hoi An. It would be a 10 hr bus trip, but Im going to try the train . Apparently the train only goes up to Da Nang, then I'll bus the 30 kms down to Hoi An. Not sure when I'll go yet.. more to see here yet.
