Ok . Using the hotel room safe I managed to lock our passports inside lol. Now the hotel manager is not able to open it ... it appears to be faulty ... what a crack up. Lucky we have enough days left to by a grinder :-)
Finally got it fixed. It did seem faulty. Phew
Last night, Sharon made me do a chocolate run to a nearby 7 Eleven ... I came back with a pkt of peanuts and dried anchovies ... hmm different, they are sure an aquired taste.
We decided to go to Central World shops to explore. Huge place, worth a look, but not the place for bargains and cheap goods. The meal was pretty average and we ended up refusing to pay some of the bill due to their multiple cockups.
We got caught up in some massive crowds due to a xmas light display ...these asians sure do like shiny blinky things and it seems the whole of Bangkok came to see shiny blinky lights.
We are booked tomorrow to do the 'Bridge over the river Kwai' tour. Cost 1900 Thai Baht. Tour starts 6am.
Today I'll leave madam shopping at some point and head for the Grand Palace to do some photography, I believe it opens about 8am. Ill take a tuk tuk or ill tuk a take take and set my gopro up on his handlebars ... .in fast motion thats got to be a giggle of a trip :-)
